Slot session cost calculator
Put in your bet, how fast you spin, how long you play and the slot's RTP. You get the total amount you put through the machine and what that session costs on average.
How it works
Total wagered = bet × spins per hour × hours. The average cost is the part of that amount the game keeps over the long run: total wagered × (100% − RTP).
A slot with 96% RTP keeps 4% of what is wagered on it, on average, across a very large number of spins. So 400 spins an hour at $1 is $400 wagered and about $16 of average cost per hour.
What the number does not tell you
RTP is a long-run average. A single session can end far above or far below it, and volatile slots swing harder. Treat the result as the price of the entertainment, not as a forecast of a win or a loss.
The same game can run at a lower RTP at one casino than at another. A 2-point drop doubles the average cost when the RTP falls from 98% to 96%.
Lower the cost before you start
Pick games with a higher published RTP: there is a list of the highest RTP slots with figures taken from the studios' own pages. And if you only want to see how a game plays, you can try it in free demo mode on SlotsForFree without putting money in.
